David & Friends See Journey in NOLA!

Last Friday, David hosted his closest friends and family at the Journey concert in the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Journey was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and even though they’ve been rocking for decades, Journey was still able to pack the Smoothie King Center with over 12,000 fans.

David and crew enjoyed the classic 80’s rock, as well as the band Asia, who opened for Journey.

Everyone enjoyed celebrating to the hits, most notably “Anyway You Want It” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Journey closed out the show with an encore performance of “Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’.”

It’s been an amazing summer of live music for David and friends. Here’s to more live music in NOLA in the months to come!

David @ Bayou Country Superfest, New Orleans

Over Memorial Day weekend, David lived every country music-lover’s dream at Bayou Country Superfest, Louisiana’s beloved “country mega-concert.”

Bayou Country Superfest is always a fantastic experience featuring country music’s biggest stars. But this year was extra special, because after seven years of Superfests in LSU’s Tiger Stadium, the festival was hosted in New Orleans’ Mercedes Benz Superdome for the first time ever.

David had the pleasure of seeing performances by Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Brett Eldredge, Jon Pardi, Chris Lane, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Hank Williams Jr., Old Dominion, Dan + Shay, and Maddie & Tae.

For now, it’s unclear whether Bayou Country Superfest will remain in New Orleans’ Superdome or move back to Tiger Stadium, but either way, David can’t wait for next year’s country extravaganza!

David Sees the TOTAL PACKAGE TOUR: New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul, Boyz II Men!!!

David Jeansonne spent a night reliving the hits of the 80s & 90s last Friday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

For months, David & friends have been looking forward to The Total Package Tour, featuring pop gods New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul, and Boyz II Men!

Not only was this the first time NKOTB and Boyz II Men toured together since 2013, it was Paula Abdul’s first tour in 25 years!

These three legendary acts brought fans a night of pop-induced nostalgia…not to mention smooth dance moves, Abdul’s costume changes, and pyrotechnics?! It surely was a night to remember.

The GRAMMY-winning “DJ DUO” played the New Orleans Smoothie King Center last Saturday as a part of their “Memories: Do Not Open” tour. David was thrilled to catch the Chainsmokers’ unique, lively performance among friends.

The Chainsmokers, best known for their hits “#Selfie” & “Closer,” and their recent single “Paris,” are up for three GRAMMY Awards this year. Their show this weekend surely lived up to the hype!

Special guests Kiiara, Emily Warren, and Kyle gave show-stopping performances as well.

David always loves seeing live music in New Orleans. In fact, he’s looking forward to seeing New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul, & Boyz II Men next week!

The Suite Life: Pelicans Best Kings, 117-89!

David Jeansonne enjoyed watching the Pelicans win over the Sacramento Kings this past Friday, surrounded by friends in his suite, the “Suite Life.”

It was a great night for Pelicans fans: DeMarcus Cousins scored an impressive 37 points against his former team. Anthony Davis also went for 19 points, securing a strong win for the Pelicans.

As always, David was happy to be in great company, in the great city of New Orleans. He looks forward to more Pelicans games in the “Suite Life.” Go Pelicans!
